Being that I wanted to go keto and still build mass on my 16 week Project Mass training program, I designed a new keto meal plan which provides me a major surplus of calories. Below are the details:
82% of my 4050 Calories will be coming from fat and only 5% from carbs so that I can hopefully maintain ketosis throughout. Most online calculators put my daily Calorie expenditure around 2700 Calories but I question their legitimacy. If it’s true this will be a calorie surplus of around 1300 Calories. I’m curious to know whether or not I can build some mass on this meal plan. I’ll do this strictly for at least 2 weeks and provide an update upon completion.
